&body=The Housing Authority of Contra Costa County provided a home for the Boys and Girls Club of America, which provides programming and staff for local youth. Building a fun, welcoming center on a budget was a challenge we gladly undertook, knowing that the ultimate winners would be the children of the city of Rodeo. We used an existing two-story concrete block building as a utility core. Around this, we designed a new game room and offices, an addition totaling 1,700 square feet. The offices are accessible to the children and situated to give unobstructed views of all activity areas. Interiors are warm, welcoming, and vibrant.&
