&body=Our second childcare center at the Presidio shared the same program requirements as the first, the same number of children and the same square footage. A major difference was that we were given a tighter budget and more restrictive module designs. We included all indoor facilities in one building rather than two, which enabled us to provide separate outdoor playgrounds on different sides of the building. This childcare center also extends the welcoming air of a residence, using terra cotta colored roofing and white stucco walls with recessed windows to reflect the Spanish heritage of the oldest army base on the West Coast.&
