&body=We planned this 4,000 square-foot community center for a neighborhood park in Richmond. The building is scaled to complement the one-story, single-family homes nearby and designed to be useful and attractive. The main entry addresses the street directly while the 1,500 square-foot multipurpose room is angled so that large windows at the end of the room look out onto a long, thin park. Our design includes a small classroom, lobby, and office, as well as restrooms that are accessible from both the park and the building itself.&
