&body=The Richmond City Center Improvement program sought to revitalize specific areas of downtown Richmond and spark a resurgence of commercial and community activity there. As part of that effort, we redesigned eight rundown building façades over three city blocks. Old brick was stripped of paint; aluminum storefronts replaced broken and boarded windows. We added new lighting to display the rejuvenated exteriors and brightened display windows, and developed a signage package to give a unified style to the entire area. Urban renewal is more than just a new coat of paint. Here, it’s a renewed sense of pride in Richmond's heritage.&
