&body=The German-American Clubs of the greater San Francisco Bay Area wanted an all-purpose assembly center that would include meeting rooms, gallery space, and even a restoration lab. Our feasibility study planned a phased conversion of a 1920s apartment building that would suit their entire range of needs. We analyzed the structural implications of converting the building from residential to community use and developed cost estimates and a construction phasing plan that would let them occupy their new center as it was being completed. &
